The Trunking System window allows you to create and delete Trunking
Systems, as well as define individual Trunking System functionality. 
Trunking Systems are
virtual configurations that mirror actual (in-the-field) Trunking System
configurations and functionality; defining the CPS systems
enables the radio to communicate with the actual systems.

If a Trunking System’s, System Type field is modified, any Trunking Personalities previously assigned to that specific Trunking System will have to be reassigned to another system that carries the appropriate System Type selection; otherwise a codeplug error will occur when writing the codeplug to the radio. Trunking System addressing schemes can be either Type II, or ASTRO 25. |
